Papaya

papayaPapaya is one of the most nutritious fruits in the world. It is an excellent source of antioxidants, minerals and vitamins, with more Vitamin A than carrots and more Vitamin C than oranges. It’s also an excellent source of calcium, potassium, iron and Vitamin B Complex.

More than an exotic tropical fruit, papaya has improved the overall health of many people and has become recognized as one of the major medicinal plants in tropical countries. It is just a matter of time before its healing powers become known around the world.

Papaya is an excellent body-cleansing agent and is important for maintaining intestinal health.

A major problem with our diets today is that we only partially digest the protein foods we consume, partly because we don’t produce enough hydrochloric acid in the stomach. Partially digested proteins contribute to mucus buildup in the body, hinder proper-digestion and cause low energy. Insufficient protein digestion may be responsible for or contribute to conditions such as arthritis, constipation, diabetes and high blood pressure.

Papain has the power to regulate these conditions by promoting proper digestion and cleansing the tissues and intestinal walls, which reduces the existing buildup of excessive mucus and dead tissue with long-term use.

Papaya is beneficial for skin care and repair. You can use papaya to treat or eliminate old dead skin cells, dandruff and other skin disorders, and even to reduce the signs of premature aging.

There are preparations you can make at home for acne, age spots, dandruff and wrinkles to name a few. (1)
